Lisa Adams is a seasoned nonprofit and consulting executive with more than 30 years of development and leadership experience, having raised over $3M in support of community, education, and veteran-focused initiatives.
Lisa brings a unique blend of vision, execution, and interpersonal skill to every role she undertakes.
A native Texan born in Fort Hood, Lisa spent her formative years living on U.S. military bases in Texas, Korea, Japan, and Germany. She graduated from the International School of Düsseldorf and later earned a B.A. in Mass Communication from Texas State University. Her early career included a decade of public service with the State of Texas, where she honed her expertise in program development and stakeholder engagement.
Lisa later transitioned to the healthcare sector, where she played a key role in building hospice and marketing programs for a Level IV hospital. Driven by a passion for organizational growth and community empowerment, she founded Maji Consulting, a firm specializing in strategic planning and the development of nonprofit and small business ventures.
When she’s not leading initiatives or advising clients, Lisa enjoys gourmet cooking, running along Town Lake, gardening, and attending live music events.
